Wolsey Park lies on the western edge of the historic market town of Rayleigh, which is in the district of Rochford between Southend-on-Sea and Chelmsford. With excellent rail links from Rayleigh station and convenient road and bus routes, getting around is easy.

By Road

Access to Wolsey Park is via Rawreth Lane at the northern edge of the site. In the future there will also be access from London Road when a new road is created into the south of the development. Wolsey Park is conveniently positioned close to key trunk roads the A127 and A130 connecting you with other towns and the motorway network.

By Rail

Rayleigh station, two miles from Wolsey Park, is on the mainline between London Liverpool Street and Southend Victoria. There are services every ten minutes during rush hour with a journey time of around 45 minutes into Central London, for a hassle free commute. Trains between Rayleigh and Southend Victoria run approximately every 20 minutes with an average journey time of 20 minutes.

By Bus

Residents of Wolsey Park are served by several bus services including the X30 to Rayleigh Rail Station, Southend, Chelmsford Rail/Bus Station, Broomfield Hospital and Stansted Airport as well as the 3, 20 and 25 bus services.

The X30 bus travels through Wolsey Park stopping at the Southern, Central and Northern end of the development. This enables residents to travel to Rayleigh Railway Station in 10 minutes, Chelmsford in 30 minutes and Southend in 40 minutes.

Residents of a new home at Wolsey Park are entitled to one year’s FREE bus travel on the X30 to Rayleigh Rail Station, Chelmsford and Southend as well as the 3, 20 and 25 bus services, for up to two members of each household.

By Air

For international travel, Southend airport is just seven miles away and Stansted airport around 30 miles.
